POSITION SUMMARY                                                                                                                                    

This position is responsible for managing and maintaining complex, comprehensive client relationships.  Responsible for managing, educating, resolving client issues, building relationships and meeting the needs of the plan sponsors and plan participants.

 

KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS                                                                                                      

  • Reports to Sr. Trust Officer.
  • Works closely with Trust Department team, clients, vendors.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                                                    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing a book of business. 
  • Developing solid relationships with clients, financial advisors and business partners. Ensuring client service expectations are met and exceeded while balancing the risk and exposure.
  • Accountable for client retention, profitability and revenue goals.
  • Performing complex inquires and research.  Ensuring adequate due diligence and recordkeeping.
  • Provide training, onsite enrollment and education meetings for new and existing clients.
  • Analyze and provide input regarding the investment strategy for plan participants in individual retirement solutions.
  • Identify client needs and proactively propose value added retention
  • Investment product knowledge (i.e., 401k options, annuities, tax, retirement plans, money funds, mutual funds, liabilities, margin, trust operations, etc.)
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE                                                                                                                     

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales or related field; 4-6 years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Investment product knowledge (i.e., 401k, options, annuities, tax, retirement plans, money funds, mutual funds, liabilities, margin, trust operations, etc.)
