Spooky Stories - offshoot of Layers of Maquoketa
On Friday, October 27th, a chance for the community to gather around a fireplace, drink some cocoa and listen to spooky stories, poems and campfire music at Prairie Creek Recreation Area.
7:30 - 8:00 pm - features kid-friendly readings
8:00 - 9:00 pm - features more adult-fare that may be too scary for young children
There will be a nice combination of local talent presenting everything from original writings to local lore to tired-and-true poems and stories.
