Our adult based environmental education series, OWLS, is back for 2023! We’ll kick of this year with a snowshoeing experience at White Water Canyon on Friday, January 27th. Free to any adults wishing to join us, interested parties will need to reserve their spot and can request to borrow a pair of snowshoes. We’ll need to know approximate height and weight to get you the best fit. All experience levels are welcome. We’ll meet at the main parking lot at 29912 9th Ave., Bernard Ia at 1:00 PM. Be sure to dress in layers, wear sunscreen and bring water. If conditions do no allow for snowshoes, we’ll go for a hike. Please indicate your interest by January 25th. For more information or to make a reservation please call 563-652-3783 or email@example.com . OWLS is an adult focused environmental education joint partnership between Dubuque, Jackson and Jones County Conservation.
