One Day Painting Class with Timothy Rees
Join award-winning artist Timothy Rees for a special one-day painting class at
Maquoketa Art Experience on
Saturday, February 26 | 10 am to 1 pm.
Students will discover the techniques the masters used to begin their paintings; a single-colored painting called Open Grisaille. This beautiful and fun process combines the look of a charcoal drawing with handling and effects that can only be achieved with paint.
Participants can bring their own reference or use a provided reference, and everyone will leave with a painting!
Paints and brushes will be available for students to use, and a canvas will be provided. Students of all skill levels can participate and have fun in this informative and artistic class!
