Being recognized for a George Bailey Community Service Award is a great honor. This is your opportunity to recognize and reward someone. You are invited to nominate someone who Lives, Works or Plays in Maquoketa and someone you believe makes Maquoketa a better place to live! Maybe the local firefighter, the school crossing guard, your neighbor or that teacher that always seems to give a little more!
This award pays tribute to those quiet achievers who encourage others to follow their lead. They put the betterment of their community and others first and always willing to give of themselves to better those around them.
Eligibility: Nominees must Live, Work or Play within Maquoketa
Ineligible: Self Nominations and sitting local or state elected officials or politicians
