Never been camping before, but want to give it a try? This is the event for you! Join us for a campout at the Hurstville Interpretive Center! We will go over basics of camping, practice setting up a tent, practice making a fire, and more! Then spend the night outside by the center. We will provide breakfast the next morning and snacks the night before, but please bring your own dinner. We will be meeting at 5pm on September 5th and the event will end by 9am on September 6th. Ages 18+. Registration is required for this event.
We will provide:
Tent (if requested)
Sleeping bag (if requested)
Fire starting supplies
Snack the night of the 5th
Breakfast the morning of the 6th
Participants should bring:
Dinner the night of the 5th
A blanket (if desired)
Change of clothes
Bug spray
