Ghost Package at Decker Hotel. Paranormal of Wisconsin researchers Jason Bertram and Scott Timm will be at the Decker Hotel March 25th for an evening filled with weird stories of readings they recently recovered inside the Decker Hotel. Whether you're a true believer or just want to learn more about Paranormal Investigating, this evening will be entertaining and enlightening. Decker Hotel is located in downtown Maquoketa, just 30 miles south of Dubuque, and north of the Quad Cities in Eastern Iowa. Built in 1875, the hotel is listed on the National Historic Registry. Over the past 142 years, it has served as a respite for salesmen, fur traders, touring politicians and occasional dignitaries, including Ulysses S. Grant and John Deere.
