Electric Vehicles - Pros and Cons

The Jackson County Energy District will hold a seminar on September 28 at Innovate 120 (120 South Main Street in Maquoketa) from 4-5 pm to discuss the pros and cons of electric vehicles. Light appetizers and beverages will be provided to attendees. Following the seminar, a variety of electric vehicles will be on display in the city parking lot behind Innovate 120, where EV owners will be available to show their cars and discuss their ownership experiences from 5-6pm. City, county, and business leaders who are interested in exploring the possibility of acquiring EVs for their fleet are especially invited to attend. Further, all residents of Jackson County are invited since we will also provide a wealth of information regarding EV options for everyday drivers.
