Vero Rose Smith is a photographer, painter, and curator based in Iowa City. Her current work is primarily concerned with collective memory and the challenges of archiving human experiences in an increasingly digital world. Building on a master’s in design studies, a master’s in art and architectural history, and a triple undergraduate degree in studio art, art history, and environmental studies, Smith constantly seeks new ways to combine her passion for the visual arts with environmental stewardship and social justiceStudents need to bring is a digital camera.
