Artists' Reception | Jenny Braig and Brad Bisbey

Please join Maquoketa Art Experience as we welcome artists Jenny Braig and Brad Bisbey. Jenny Braig and Brad Bisbey will have their art on display during May & June 2025. Jenny Braig grew up in Dubuque IA. The Mississippi River and the tributaries in the tri state area were her stomping grounds. She grew up fishing in the lakes and creeks, camping, hiking and swimming. She stayed in Dubuque and got a degree from Loras College. Her experiences growing up have influenced her love of landscapes; a love of nature, and water, and an attention to the details and patterns of life. Brad studied painting with Daniel Greene in Chicago and currently teaches painting at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, Iowa. An Artist’s Reception will be held on Saturday, May 3rd from 2 to 4. Light refreshments will be served. The gallery and the reception are free and open to the public.
