Event Description:

Not only does Casper Bluff Land & Water Reserve boast some of the most commanding views of the Mississippi River and its backwater sloughs, it is also an archaeologically significant site. Lindsay Foy of the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation will give us a tour of the land and provide insight to the native people who called the area home. Following the tour, the group will meet for lunch at 12:30 at The Market House Restaurant in Galena (cost of lunch on your own). RSVP required by April 23 by calling (563) 652-3783.
